confessions of a professional musician

Music

A cross selection of music throughout the years. There are various different groups and instrumentations represented here.

Here is a list of groups I currently perform with.

Enjoy

Heavy Junk
This is the Mother Funk Conspiracy live, playing one of our oldest compositions.

Nardis
This Miles Davis piece features me on Drums, Upright Bass, and two Guitar tracks.

Lo Que Va A Pasar
This was a short lived Salsa group that I was playing with. I really enjoyed playing the upright in this group, some of the most fun I’ve had musically. A Smokin Track too.

Tequilla Sunburn
This tune is inspired by latin music overdose and a sunburn. Written 5-06, and recorded the following weekend. I played all instruments except the trombone solo, courtesy of my good friend Colin Dean.

Pokin Around.mp3
This is my Django influenced tune, written in 06. Myself doubled on guitar. Vintage sounding recording quality too!

Naima.mp3
Inspired by Jaco, one pass on electric bass, no overdubs. Written by John Coltrane.

Bass Solo
This is my bass solo excerpt from a Jazz recording session I did earlier in ‘07. The tune is Beautiful Love.
